What's In the Bag?
Every child born or adopted in Nova Scotia receives a free Read to Me! bag. The bag is currently available in English, French, Arabic, Chinese and Mi’kmaw.
Special materials are also available for families who are hearing and visually impaired.
The English Read to Me! bag includes:
- A quality canvas bag
- High quality baby books
- 'Hey Diddle Diddle!' - A CD of lullabies and nursery rhymes
- A link to library programs and resources for babies
- A month-by-month family reading guide
- Download our letter to parents
The Read to Me! bag is also available in:
